Parent volunteers play an essential role in organizing and chaperoning many school activities. We need volunteers for everything we do - from fundraising and social events, hot lunch, sports day, crossing guard duty, cone patrol, class reps, field trips, and PAC Committee members. Volunteering is also a great way to meet other parents and make a valuable contribution to the school community. Our exec team is small but mighty and we are always looking for parents who want to become involved - in any way big or small!
We know families are busy and finding time to volunteer is challenging. We have many opportunities to volunteer throughout the year that can fit all schedules, with time commitments varying from 20 minutes to just a few hours to ongoing responsibilities. If you are new to the school, please join in!
Some of the roles we are currently looking to fill include:
- Safety Coordinator
- Crossing Guards: 1x/week (15 min shift)
- Morning shift: 8:35am – 8:50am
- Afternoon shift: 2:55pm – 3:10pm
- Cone Patrol (5-10mins) – set up/take down cones in key safety locations
- Morning: 8:35am (set up)
- Afternoon: 3:10pm (take down)
- Parent Education Coordinator
- Hot lunch volunteers
- General event volunteers
